Sorters are one of the most popular machines used in aerosol filling lines. Usually different types are used in one production line. Sorters allow you to select sorted elements such as aerosol valves, spray heads or caps, which are then fed to filling modules or caps jigs and can be properly inserted or placed on aerosol containers.

Cap sorter with feeder

A cap sorter with a feeder is used in the aerosol production process. The device is used for the proper orientation and transport of the aerosol caps to the caps jug, so that it can place them on the filled aerosol cans. The device can work with a capacity of up to 120 pieces per minute.


The caps are oriented through a sorter basket with a rotating interchangeable wheel and a set of air nozzles. The caps are fed by guides integrated with the feeder. The cap sorter is made of stainless steel and high-quality plastics. The appropriate number of caps in the sorter basket is automatically regulated by a system of sensors and an integrated cap lifter. The sorter can be converted into caps of different diameters by replacing the sorting wheel.

Magnetic valve sorters

Magnetic valve sorters are used to correctly orient, sort and feed the aerosol valves to the aerosol filling line continuously.

The valves from the input hopper through the sorting system and guides are fed to the pneumatic ejector, which then ejects the oriented valves through the transport tube into the valve lifter tube mounted on the AMR Auto Fill and Crimp modules. The design of the magnetic valve sorter allows only valves with a steel body to be used. A sufficient number of aerosol valves in the sorter basket is regulated by a sensor system integrated with the sorter and a valve lift.

We offer a SMD-28 magnetic valve sorter with a capacity of 100 pieces per minute and SZM-08 with a capacity of 60 pieces per minute.

Vibrating sorters

Vibrating sorters are used for the correct orientation, sorting and continuous feeding of valves, spray heads, caps, atomizers for aerosol cans and perfume bottles on the production line. The sorted items are transported from the hopper by means of variable frequency vibrations to a chute connected to a suitable depositing machine. The appropriate number of sorted elements in the vibrating basket is ensured by a system of sensors and an elevator integrated with the sorter.
