Pumps

Solmatic offers two specialized pumps used in aerosol production processes:

Propellant Gas Pump PT-59 – designed to deliver liquid propellant gases with low boiling points and high pressure, such as LPG, DME, CO₂ or HFA, directly to the gas filling modules,
Product Pump – a submersible pump for active substances, liquids, and emulsions, used to transfer product from IBCs, drums, or Mauser containers to the filling modules.

Both machines provide stable and repeatable operating pressure, ensuring accurate dosing even in conditions of fluctuating inlet pressure. They are essential components of any professional aerosol filling line – for both serial and pilot-scale production.

PT-59 Gas Pump

The PT-59 is an efficient gas pump designed to deliver liquefied propellant gases with low boiling points and high pressure to propellant filling units in aerosol production lines. The standard flow capacity is up to 15 liters per minute, depending on the gas used and system configuration.

The device is compatible with all standard gases used in the aerosol industry, such as LPG (propane/butane), DME, HFA, CO₂, and others. Made from top-quality materials – including stainless steel for all gas-contact parts – the PT-59 ensures corrosion resistance, durability, and safe operation in demanding production environments.

All moving pneumatic components are protected by an integrated air preparation and automatic lubrication system, extending the pump’s service life and reducing maintenance requirements.

Product Pump

The product pump is a pneumatic submersible pump designed to extract and deliver active ingredients directly from IBC containers, drums, or canisters (e.g. Mauser type) to filling modules in aerosol production lines. It provides a stable flow and pressure range from 2 to 10 bar, ensuring consistent and precise dosing.

The pump reaches a capacity of up to 20 liters per minute and is used in processes where a continuous supply of medium is required regardless of suction-side pressure – for example, when handling viscous products or drawing from large-volume containers.

The working components are made of high-grade acid-resistant stainless steel, and the seals are selected for compatibility with a wide range of liquids, including chemically aggressive and high-viscosity substances.
